Repair and Test
Once you approve the price, we complete the repair and test the appliance. Every repair carries a 1-year parts and 90-day labor warranty.

Barnard Appliance Repair is owned by Ted Barnard and operated with his partners James and Steve Rudnet. Ted has 15+ years in the trade and is certified on Whirlpool and Maytag.
Ted worked for independent repair shops and a national franchise before opening Barnard Appliance Repair. He and his wife have five kids, and he coaches football for the Willow Grove Bears.

The service call is $99 plus tax, or $159 out of area. It covers the in-home visit and diagnosis. If you approve the repair, the service-call fee is applied to the repair price.
What information should I have ready?
Tell us which appliance needs service, the brand and model number, what it is doing, and when the problem started. A photo of the model plate is fine if the number is hard to read.
When can I reach someone?
8am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday. If we miss your call during those hours, one of us calls you back. You can leave a message after 8pm.
Do you work on my brand?
Brands we service include Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Maytag, Frigidaire, Sub-Zero, and Asko. Ted is certified on Whirlpool and Maytag. If your brand is not listed, call or text us before booking.
Is it worth fixing, or should I replace it?
The decision depends on the failed part, the repair price, the appliance's age, and whether replacement parts are still available. We diagnose the problem and give you the price so you can compare repair with replacement. We also install new appliances.
What warranty comes with the repair?
